The ISO 17025:2017 laboratory quality management system standards are recognized worldwide as a standard to be utilized by testing and calibration laboratories seeking accreditation. ISO 17025 fully incorporates the current version of ISO 9000, while adding additional requirements relating measurement uncertainty and others. Major manufacturers (including food), service providers (health care labs) and suppliers worldwide require accreditation to ISO 17025 as a condition of doing business with them.
